Far Country Animal Hospital is located on Colony Schools Drive, across from Colony High School in Palmer, Alaska. We are a full service companion animal hospital. We are committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet, the highest level of client service, and a high quality of life for our staff. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
We offer convenient office hours to help better assist you in getting your pets seen when YOU need them to be seen .
We are OPEN 7:00am-10:00pm Monday-Thursday and 24 Hours on the Weekends with NO EMERGENCY OFFICE FEES!!!

Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.
